Apata is a fast-growing global payment authentication provider that helps banks and fintechs reduce fraud, improve approval rates and deliver smoother customer experiences through advanced 3D Secure technology. In early 2025, Apata approached Kooba seeking a refreshed brand identity and a redesigned website, with the goal of better communicating their industry-leading offering to their target audience of financial providers and banks. Kooba aimed to build a lead-generation optimised website which showcased product features and client use-cases, all whilst streamlining the conversion process.

Building a brand
Kooba began with a collaborative workshop, helping to understand the exact values that Apata sought to communicate with their visual brand. These were carried into the brand design phase, as Kooba’s team created a palette, logo and visual identity which perfectly reflected Apata’s status as a company. This updated brand and typography could then be used across the new Apata website.

Responsive and interactive
In order to build an effective and engaging digital experience, Kooba implemented responsive and dynamic modules across the new Apata website. This interactive solution ensured that Apata could clearly communicate their unique offering to users, all without overwhelming them with information. In particular, the Developer Integration page provides information in a highly dynamic manner, helping to illustrate the competitive advantages offered by Apata.
Optimising for lead generation
Ultimately, the goal of the Apata website was to drive meaningful leads and contribute towards business growth. To accomplish this, Kooba displayed Apata’s product features in a rationalised layout, included CTAs at strategic points, and optimised the website’s lead generation form for conversions. Kooba also ensured that the backend of the website was fully functional, contributing to SEO and organic search traffic.
