We’re seeking a detail-oriented Web Accessibility Auditor to join our team in Dublin. This role combines deep expertise in accessibility auditing with broader quality assurance responsibilities to ensure our digital experiences meet the highest standards of usability, compliance, and inclusivity.
The role:
- Take the best in automated and manual practices to review web designs and builds
- Ensure the final quality of projects meets our defined standards
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct accessibility audits for websites and web applicationsusing both automated and manual testing methods.
- Apply WCAG 2.1 (or higher) standards to assess and report on accessibility compliance.
- Use tools such as Axe Monitor, browser plugins, and assistive technologies to identify and document accessibility issues.
- Provide clear, actionable guidance for remediation to cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to integrate accessibility into overall testing strategies.
- Support accessibility compliance across all project phases—from planning through post-launch.
- Maintain detailed audit logs, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Display excellent communication and collaboration skills, and work cross-functionally.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience conducting accessibility audits for websites, applications, and PDFs.
- Strong knowledge of WCAG, ARIA, and digital accessibility principles.
- Familiarity with assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver) and accessibility testing tools.
- Hands-on experience with Axe Monitor or similar platforms for scalable accessibility reviews.
- Strong foundation in general QA methodologies and testing best practices.
- Ability to produce high-quality documentation and reports.
Nice to have:
- IAAP CPACC certification or equivalent (WAS, CPWA).
- Experience auditing digital documents (including PDFs)
- Ability to write test scripts with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar
- Experience with dynamic, complex web applications.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, especially as they pertain to accessibility.
