We're currently seeking a Senior Account Manager to cover a key period in our growth. This role is central to managing tiered client retainers, supporting strategic client relationships, and ensuring the seamless delivery of projects alongside our project management and creative teams.
The Role
As a Senior Account Manager, you'll be the key liaison between our clients and internal teams. You will:
- Lead and manage a portfolio of high-value, retainer-based clients.
- Drive client satisfaction through proactive communication, strategic thinking, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure timely and successful delivery of work.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities within accounts.
- Represent the client’s voice internally and provide clear direction to the team.
- Support new business pitches or upsell opportunities where relevant.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the relationship with assigned clients, ensuring retention and growth.
- Maintain clear account plans and track against KPIs.
- Work closely with the senior operations team to align scopes, resources and timelines.
- Lead quarterly business reviews and performance reports.
- Ensure all communications reflect Kooba’s high standards of clarity and professionalism.
- Track billable time and ensure clients are receiving value in line with their retained days.
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years in a digital agency or similar client-facing environment.
- Proven experience managing complex client relationships and digital projects.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience managing retainers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with digital production processes (UX, design, development).
- A strategic mindset with attention to detail and delivery.
Desirable
- Experience in B2B and/or public sector clients.
- Experience with performance reporting tools or CMS platforms (e.g. CraftCMS, WordPress).
- Exposure to European or UK markets.
